Principal’s Note
As-Salaamu-Alaikum Mohammed Schools of Atlanta family!
"Accelerating Adab, Achievement, and Accountability." These three pillars are not only the foundation of a successful Islamic education but also the cornerstones of a thriving community.
Adab, which encompasses manners, respect, and ethics, is at the heart of our faith. It's not just about teaching our children how to be polite, but it's about instilling in them the values and virtues that define a true Muslim. It's about nurturing the qualities of empathy, compassion, and humility that our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exemplified. Adab is the character that will guide our children throughout their lives.
Achievement is the fruit of hard work, dedication, and education. Our goal is to provide our students with the best possible environment to excel academically. But achievement is not limited to grades alone; it extends to personal growth and development. We aim to equip our students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in this ever-changing world while remaining firmly grounded in their faith.
Accountability is a shared responsibility. As parents, you play a pivotal role in the education of your children. It's not just the school's duty to educate; it's our collective duty. We are all answerable for their upbringing and education. We must hold ourselves accountable for being actively involved in their learning journey.
This is where the family at home comes in. We must be here to create a strong support system that will enable our children to reach their full potential. Together, we can accelerate Adab, Achievement, and Accountability. We can create an environment where our children not only succeed academically but also grow into well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to our community and society.
So, I urge you, dear parents, to take that step today, to become a part of this wonderful community of parents and educators working hand in hand for our children's future. Join our IPTA, volunteer your time at the school and lend us your expertise! Together, we can ensure that this school year is one of great Adab, Achievement, and Accountability.
May Allah bless our efforts, guide our children, and grant us the strength and wisdom to nurture them in the best possible way.
As Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.
