Come and Help
Take-Home Tasks
Maintaining the parent group communications, being a homeroom parent, etc.
Maintaining and update group’s social channels (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.)
Editing Publications like Social Media, Newsletters, etc. (even this site!)
Preparing flyers for events
Helping with ongoing passive fundraisers
Other Ways To Be Involved
Brightening surroundings (encouraging bulletin boards, school signs with uplifting messages)
Hall monitors
Field trip advisor (plan trips for your child class)
Security Monitor
Donate and/or distribute materials to classrooms
Supply sanitizer, disinfectant and/or masks to classrooms
Occasional or Event-Based Opportunities
Volunteer activities for those with limited time. Volunteers can help by:
Preparing food or decorating for Teacher Appreciation Week
Preparing food for parent/teacher conferences (when teachers are required to stay late at school)
Working a specific, short aspect of an event (passing out waters at our Road Race for Education, manning a station at a fundraising breakfast, assist with setting up an event or cleaning up after an event, etc.)
Assist with fundraisers as liaisons
Help with Errands
Buying food or other supplies for events
Assist with creating paperwork packages
Helping with flyers, packets, materials, or delivery
Administrative/School or Classroom Subs
Photo copies
Filing
Working with kids in the classroom (Tutoring, assignments/projects, speech prep, etc.)
Office assistance
Volunteering in the Library and Media Center
Assisting with lunch/recess duty
Utilizing Talents and Skills
Teach an elective or supervise an after school program
Helping with before and after school activities
Participating or assisting with Islamic and STEM activities and events
Signing up for our annual Career Day
