Volunteer Day - Hands On Mohammed Schools

We are excited to announce the Hands on Mohammed Schools of Atlanta event, a three-day initiative dedicated to beautifying our school campus in preparation for the new academic year. From Monday, July 29th to Wednesday, July 31st, we invite community members, parents, students, and friends to come together and make a lasting impact on our school.

Event Details:

  • Dates: Monday, July 29 - Wednesday, July 31

  • Time: Various 2-hour shifts available from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Location: Mohammed Schools of Atlanta

Why Participate? This event is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our community, show school pride, and provide our students with a clean, beautiful, and inspiring environment. Whether you have a green thumb, a knack for painting, or just a willingness to help, there's a place for you!

Volunteer Projects:

1. Landscaping Kick off the day by enhancing the natural beauty of our campus. Volunteers will focus on outdoor painting, trimming bushes, and cleaning the parking lots and campus grounds. Enjoy the fresh morning air while making a visible difference. We recommend bringing gardening gloves and wearing closed-toe shoes.

2. Classroom Makeover Bring a fresh look to our classrooms with a new coat of paint and creative decorations. Volunteers will help paint interior walls, set up bulletin boards, and add other decorative touches to make the classrooms inviting and inspiring for our students.

3. Campus Clean-Up Join us in making our common areas spotless! Volunteers will clean hallways, organize storage spaces, and tidy up multipurpose rooms. This shift ensures our school is neat and orderly, ready to welcome students back.

4. Maintenance and Repairs Help keep our school in top shape by assisting with light maintenance and repair tasks. Volunteers will handle minor repairs of facilities and other maintenance duties. Skilled volunteers are especially needed for this project.
