Did you know that many kids in grades K-12 report that they do not eat breakfast before school? No matter what the reason for missing breakfast, students do not learn well on an empty stomach. We are proud to offer both breakfast and lunch, free of charge!

Mohammed Schools offers both breakfast and lunch to its students and staff. Breakfast is served every morning from 7:00 A.M.- 7:50 A.M.

“Then let man look to his food. That We pour down the water, pouring (it) down in abundance. Then we cleave the earth, cleaving (it) asunder. Then we cause to grow therein the grain, and grapes and clover, and the olive and the palm, and thick gardens, and fruit and herbage.” Surah 80, ayaat 24-31.

Back to School with Breakfast

The beginning of the school year brings new opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and succeed. Why not give them a leg up by incorporating school breakfast into their morning routine. Having breakfast in the morning has been shown to increase test scores, improve behavior, and result in fewer trips to the school nurse. However, parents don’t always have the time or resources to prepare breakfast for their child before school. Participating in the school breakfast program can help recapture that time, and it can also provide relief to your household budget during these times of rising food costs. So instead of rushing your child through breakfast at home, try sending him or her to school for breakfast instead.

The School Breakfast Program is available to all students every day. Since school breakfasts must meet the USDA’s guidelines for nutrition, you can be confident that your child’s meal will provide the fuel necessary for learning. By taking advantage of this program, your child will receive more than just a nutritious breakfast and an academic advantage; he or she will be healthier as well.
