IPTSCA Bio’s


Tazar Gissentanner – President: I’m the proud mother of two Mohammed school students. I work in the area of Instructional Technology. I serve as president of IPTSCA, because this is what I can do to contribute to CMS. I believe deeply in Sis. Clara Mohammed’s philosophy of educating your own children. You’ll either spend your time and money building your own institutions and businesses or somebody else’s. I choose to spend my time and money building our community’s educational institutions.

Fatima Khokhar – Vice President: As salaamu alaikum. My name is Fatima Khokhar. I have a wonderful husband, Mansoor, two amazing children, Maymuna and Muhammed Ayub, and a rambunctious gentle cat named Tutu. This is my second year as a Montessori teacher. I have the humble honor of being your IPTSCA vice president this year. I accepted this position because of my deep commitment to the Mohammed Schools vision and mission for not just my children but all of our community children, and what better way to support that vision than to get involved! I am excited and looking forward to working with you and your family for a wonderful school year.

Teresa Sabree – Secretary: I have a B.S. Urban Policy Studies from GA State University. I am a Project Manager for a public/non-profit redevelopment agency. I have two children: one at CMS and one at WDM. I accepted nomination as secretary, in order to support Mohammed Schools. I want to improve IPTSCA by helping with obtaining 501c3 non-profit designation.I hope to use the experience I’ve gained working for and with non-profits to advance the IPTSCA.

Summiyah Austin Siddeeq – Web Coordinator: I am the mom of two energetic Mohammed Schools Students (2nd & 3rd grade!). Currently, I am a media and brand coordinator at a photo printing company in Atlanta. I serve as the Web Coordinator for the IPTSCA. I am truly excited to further my work with Mohammed Schools of Atlanta! I have a strong love for educational technology and applying it to traditional classroom learning. I look forward to helping our school and our children continue to succeed!

Miriam Lawson – Treasurer: I am the mother of one Mohammed School student and IsA next year I will be the mother of two Mohammed School students. I love what Mohammed Schools represents and want my son to be a Mohammed School scholar. I also need to be actively involved in his educational environment and felt that serving on the board of the IPTSCA would allow me to do just that.

Zenobia Day – Assistant Treasurer: I am the mother of five children. I am an alumna of Mohammed Schools and the mother of three students that have attended Mohammed Schools, two of which currently attend. I work in the area of Family Medicine and access to health care for all. I have chosen to serve on the IPTSCA board because of the immense love and passion I have for the mission of Imam W.D. Mohammed, community life and our children.
