Consultative Board
The Consultative Board of Mohammed Schools is established to provide a body of supervision over education at a point as close to the parent, child and community as possible. It is a systemic body directed by the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam Majlis Ash Shura. The primary responsibility of the Consultative Board is to establish, clarify, and interpret policy ~or better said, to provide governance for Mohammed Schools.
The Consultative Board consists of seven voting members appointed by the Majlis Ashura of the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, and three non-voting members to include the Director / Principal of Mohammed Schools, the President of the IPTSCA (Islamic Parent, Teacher, Student, Community Association), and a Recording Secretary.
The Consultative Board meets regularly on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at the Atlanta Masjid at 6:30 PM. Its chair is appointed by the Majlis
